Anti Stat Liquid Analyzer

This sampler by SELA is designed for use in low flash point liquids and must be grounded to the item being sampled using the attached grounding lead to insure that no static electricity is discharged. Item being sampled should be grounded to earth ground. Failure to properly ground this device could lead to an electrical discharge with serious consequences and possible bodily harm. Proper clothing selection and other precautionary measures such as the use of anti static bottles, etc. should also be observed when sampling low flash point liquids.

                While the use of this device for sampling low flash point liquids will help diminish the possibility of static electric discharge, use of this device will not guarantee that an electrical discharge will not occur. Many factors combine to contribute to such a discharge which are out of our control.  SELA will not be responsible in the event an electrical discharge does occur while using this device, or any of our other devices.

                The operation of this sampler is identical to our standard Liquid Analyzers. Specimen size collect =1 oz. per 2” of liquid column height.

                This sampler is designed to allow for disassembly for cleaning purposes, however it must be reassembled in strict accordance with our directions to assure low resistive continuity of all parts. Please phone to request these instructions and discuss this operation. When possible, always clean samplers by placing in a container of cleaner without disassembly.

                Stainless steel version consists of s.s. Pipe body and inner rod with brass handle and valve assembly. Semi Disposable model is identical to above, with ss pipe body being replaced with a conductive polypropelene pipe body. This also reduces sampler weight by over 50%.
